THIS MONTH / December 2020

December 15, 2020

Here is our latest content for the monthly subscription

Almost a year of existence during a period that can easily be described as disruptive.

We have adjusted, grown and continue to move forward with our 3-year development plan.

We are working to become a true continuing education institution that will train first level operational financial managers.

We like to welcome more and more learners, both individual and corporate.

Welcome, this month, to the international participants of Dentsu and L’Oréal

We also continue to prepare specific training programs for companies. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have specific needs.

Our first full course “Investment Evaluation and Control” will be available later this month.

For our December vidcast, we are analyzing the energy storage situation in Australia with the Hornsdale project, a collaboration between Tesla and Neoen.

Our educational film focuses on the financialization of Coca-Cola and the story is so vast that we treat it in 2 chapters. This month we cover the period from 1980 to 1999 and tell a bit of the early history. The next one, in January, will focus on the last 20 years. Both make up for a fascinating story.

For our blog, Professor Jacquet questions the possible need to revise the use of the DCF method in the face of the disruptive model of recent IPOs by Airbnb and DoorDash.

Of course, you can still access all our previous educational films, videos and blog posts.

Welcome to your E-Cademy and have a happy holiday.

Despite its significant revenues, Manchester United is not necessarily a financial success when you do a detailed analysis of its accounts. Professor Jacquet immersed himself in the balance sheets and stock market prices and, while telling the story of MANU, he gives us an in-depth review of the club's financial structure.
