CE MOIS-CI / January 2022

January 15, 2022

Here is our latest content for the monthly subscription.

Here comes the New Year with the insecurity of the Omicron variant and a fifth wave of the unending pandemic. Yet, there is serious talk of an upcoming pandemic outbreak.

Distance learning will therefore continue to be a major vector of training and we will be there to create virtual pedagogy tools in finance.

For individual subscribers, our basic subscription price has been radically reduced since September 2021. It is now 13€ or 19$CAD per month (130€ or 190$CAD per year). Don’t hesitate to tell your colleagues who are not yet familiar with the E-Cademy.

However, it does not include the courses that are available to entrepreneurial or academic clients. However, in the near future, our variation on a “finance for non-financial people” course will be available in the heart of the platform.

For our January 2022 educational film, Professor Jacquet has expanded on the analysis of the multinational giant Unilever that he began in the December 2021 blog. It will be in two parts: this month, it’s about their financial communication. In the second video, in February, he will discuss non-financial reporting.

Our vidcast expands on the subject by talking about the problem of information asymmetry that is becoming commonplace in many companies that only partially disclose their financial parameters. Professor Jacquet presents 4 cases: Unilever, to accompany the educational film, the Cloud, Ørsted (the 2 having been the subject of previous films), as well as Avery Dennison.

This month, the blog talks about Ford’s positioning in the world of electric vehicles, where it has to coexist alongside new players with huge market values such as Rivian or Lucid.

Of course, you can always access all our previous educational films, videos and blog posts.

We wish you a happy and prosperous 2022.
